Sucks they reproduce anything because we always run into this problem with not only signs but other collectibles as well. The ol' it's too nice to be original but then again if it was a repop it would have this, etc.
I had that problem with a Royal Crown flange sign I bought. Seller swore it was 100% original but it looked too good. In looking around it may be a reproduction. So finally I told myself who cares and just hung the darn thing, easier that way.
I bought a collection of fairly high end pedal cars, all restored. Little did I know that of the 12 cars I had I learned all have since been reproduced. They were impossible to sell for that reason so I needed to drastically reduce every one to move it. For that reason I will never own another pedal car again.
