So I am either crazy or part of the club, but my 16 year old son and I drove 4.5 hours one way a few Sunday's ago to look at and eventually buy my first jukebox.  I have been looking for one of these for years, but I had my heart set on something from the 50's to match the look we were going for in our basement.  Of course this meant more money and more time trying to find one.  I was finally close to having enough money when I started looking on Craigslist.  Most of the time I either found something from the 60's or 70's and even if I found something from the 50's it was either too costly or needed too many repairs.  So I waited patiently.  I finally found someone about 1 hour away that had several from the 50's (Rockola 1468 Tempo and a few different type Seeburgs), but all needed some work.  Then I came upon this Seeburg M100C that I felt was priced reasonably and looked to be in great shape, but was 4.5 hours away.  After talking to the gentleman over the phone and getting the back story and getting a feel for him I decided to drive up and see it.  In the end it ended up being a beautiful box that he said he got about 15 years ago and appears was restored at some point prior to that.  In addition to the box he was also including about 6 small boxes of 45's (including some 45 box sets from the 50'), restoration manual, troubleshooting manual, extra tubes, extra needles, 45 sleeves, blank title strips and a few other misc items.  I could not pass it up so we made the deal and we hauled it home.  After a 4.5 hour trip in the car and being hauled to my basement we hooked it up and it works like a champ.  While I am absolutely thrilled to get a jukebox like this I have to say the best part was spending time with my son.   At one point towards the end of the drive I said "Thank you so much for helping me as I could have not done this with out you" and he said "no problem, you do a lot for me".  Now as parents we all know we do a lot, but it is not always recognized.   Pictures coming shortly.

Not a real clean picture of the side with the coin return.

Nick, nice machine. I've got a JL myself. Let me know if you need the mech manual for it I've got in PDF format.
