 That is a nice original looking American. I had several through out the years. I think penny scales is under rated. My Watling Small Guesser gets used on a daily basis.

We had a similar American in my dad's drugstore.  We emptied it about once a year and generally rolled up about $75 in pennies each time.  I have ont that is similar but not in as good of shape.

I think Bill Berning (Penny scales .com ) still rents out scales to business. I think that's what his flyers said when I bought some parts from him last year . He was very helpful when I redone a set for my son , he had all the parts and even bought a better original head and mirror to go on mine.
