Have any of you ever built in an on/off capacitive touch switch on your machine?

Attempting to accomplish what, just touching the machine to vend?  It's an interesting idea if so.  I use them in a lot of my lamps, always a crowd pleaser.

Oh no - inserting a coin and cranking the handle is all the joy!  drinking

I want to be able to turn on the lights on my Jacobs 56 "Lite up" machine without having to have the machine cooling. I think it would be cool & fun to be able to walk up and turn the lights on with a mere touch. I'd enjoy doing this almost as much as vending a cold soda!

Home Depot sells the switches, very easy to install, as long as you are using incandescent bulbs, they won't work with flourescent

Thanks but I'm looking for something a little more sophisticated. I hope to put the switch behind the plastic lens.
