Vendo 44 Coin Bezel

I have a Vendo 44 coin bezel that that does not have the marked coin return piece that you push down.  All mine has is an open square.  Did they come both ways? ]

I think you are referring to the Coin Release.  That is a separate part and is available from Fun-Tronics.  Here is the link:
