Thanks. It is good to hear other's opinions, especially on a machine like this that is not typically thought of as a "wanted" machine. I thought it might be cool vending cans, as long as it wasn't too $. Yes, I could pick it up (unless his offer to deliver is too good to pass up).
Danke Lars. I'll let you know. If there is anything you are looking for in particular down here on the Virginia side, let me know.

Well, the Cavalier mentioned above is going a little bit higher than I thought it might and, although with 15 hours left and not terribly high, it is creeping past what I thought I might pay. Is it the condition, because I didn't think it would be the style that is moving it?

These machines seem to be going up in value too. This is just a theory so do not laugh at me but I think this style of machine is rarer than people think. They were not as cool as the slant shelfs so I do not think as many were spared the scrap yard as the slanties. It's a good looking machine. I would love one of these but I have yet to come across one.

Dan,
I'm looking with 4 hours to go and it's at $276.09 Still within reason if you don't have shipping invloved... Keep us posted if your still interested and possibly win the machine...

My personal bias... I really think the modern machines with their massive plexiglass fronts really have lost the personality of the older machines. The older styles, particularly the old coke graphics, really look great. Reminds one of a far more innocent time. Plus you don't end up spending a fortune filling 'em up. Great luck, whatever you decide on bidding on this machine -

Eh, I wasn't "married to it" anyhow. Yesterday I sunk $2300 in car repairs, so that ate up a bit of my play money too. Besides, I have a Vendo 63 that is almost done and that should tide me over...for a while.
