Is their any maintenance to be done on these? Its running great and seems very quiet, kind of a muffled  whirring or ticking.
Does your compressor case get hot as I described?

That sounds normal. You could put a fan in there to blow air around it if you are afraid it's too hot.

So after all these years my water cooler has developed an issue. Everything is working, the water comes out cold at 39 to 43 or so degrees, but the little fridge compartment won't get below 60 degrees. Also, I don't think the compressor is ever going off or cycling. It's been this way for a long while so I would think if it was leaking Freon the water would get warm also.
Any thoughts for me?
I called Global but they are out of business.

Definitely an old one , I used to have one but when I moved 25 years ago I left it still working on my outside deck. I got it out of an old telephone switchboard building during plumbing remodel in the 70s . Wish I had brought it with me .
