Are these merely a syrup dispenser? What is the capacity in syrup?

They're a "post mix" which mixes the syrup and carbonated water upon dispensing. I've never filled one, but the syrup tank may hold 1/2 gallon or less. The main tank inside holds chilled water.

        Looks like the base was made of wood, very clever way to display a dispenser.
It would not be usable though because the hoses are supposed to travel under the counter.

That is a that Dole Superior... Depending on condition.. that one seems pretty clean.... the little grates bring $50-75 by itself, many times it's missing.
The sold prices I've seen range from $250-$550... I would say around $500 tops
