I was looking through the photos of Choice Vend machines for a model that has a bottle door on the left, but didn't see one.  Anybody know what model Choice Vend would be a bottle vendor/slant shelf machine? Any thoughts on Choice Vend machines?  I know they aren't the most popular, but are parts easy/difficult to come by?  Thanks.

Found it.  It is either a VU 9-72 or a 12-120, which are listed on this site.  Must have just skipped them the first time I looked.

Also remember that SMC doesn't list every soda machine, I know, I know but we're trying... So, there may be another from Choice Vend that meets your description...

My six cents,

Hey all,

This is the machine I was looking at

I could pick it up, but don't know if it would even be worth messing with.  Opinions?

Dan - just fyi, there's a Choice-Vend parts lot up on ebay right now.  I have no idea if they would be interchangable with the machine you are looking at.

Here's the auction:

Thanks Bob,  I can see the model number on the tag and will see what I can figure out.
Hey all, here is the other machine I am looking at, but I hate to take on two projects.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....IT&rd=1

The Choice Vend (mentioned above) supposedly has all of the shelves, but I didn't get the photos of the inside I asked for and it ends really soon.  I guess as far as looks go, that would be a personal preference on which style is nicer. I know neither is very desireable. They are both large. I am thinking the Cavalier might be cool as a can vendor (does it vend cans?)  I could pick up either one. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I like the Cavalier.  At 62" it's not that big a machine.

True.  The Choice-Vend looks awfully tall and I think would take quite a bit more work than the Cavalier.  I think I like the looks of the Cavalier and it would be more practical as a can machine.

Ok, I passed on the Choice-Vend.  It ended at $43.00.  I thought it might even be worth parting out, but how many people would really need parts off of that thing? I don't want a heap sitting around.

A smart decision if you ask me.

But I feel for ya' because it is very painful to turn down any soda machine for a mere $43.
