This will show how much of a pack rat I am...
I came across the auction I mentioned about a DP cooler.
Does it look like this?...
Since it's an image in a paper and I wasn't able to go to the auction I don't know if it's embossed or just painted on.
You can tell it's a Quikold due to the rounded corners and it's not complete the base with casters are missing.

I wouldn't think they would have taken the time on an assembley line to paint that much detail..  Iwould think it would have been just a white.
But anyway here is the only Quikold Brick I've seen.
The auction was in 1999 at Katy, Texas

Well Guy's here it is, the embossed red brick cooler I was telling you about. It was manufactured by S&S products but the end caps appear to be quikcold's. I cannot find any more info. on it! I talked to a few serious collectors who said that they have never heard of one before. The signage is 100% embossed. I showed it to two other collectors today and they both tried to buy it. The vintage is late 30's to late 40's. This cooler has more embossed bricks than the quikcold did. It is the size of a master quikcold and the refrigeration still works! The body is very straight with one small minor dent. ':drinkers:'
