As I said in another thread... I've finally made some noticeable progress. I'll add pics as I get more completed... need to find a way to replenish my stock of garage passes.
First pic the clean-up of the cooling system. Painted the evap with hammerite silver-grey, compressor and base with high heat gloss black. Shrouds and other assembly parts will be hammerite also.

Bryan, fantastic! Which paint and method did you use? Did you remove rust from the grill?

Creighton / Kito - Thanks.
I unassembled, stripped and cleaned <EVERYTHING> using the methods explained on theses boards. I basically borrowed from everyone and anyone... but especially Kevin C, Brian Beeson & Johnny G. Used Simple Green & CLR with pressure water, steel wool, and brass brushes to clean. Painted the compressor and condensor with Rustoleum High Temp Gloss Black (spray can). Painted the galvanized parts with Hammerrite primer (made specifically for galvanized) then Silver-Grey hammertone (using HVLP spray gun).
Next step is to Hammerite the tub then the shell itself (still trying to find Pepsi colors... yeah, yeah, I know it's not Coke but I really wanted to restore to original config)... but first we're off to Puerto Vallarta for a week.
