Wanted to get others input on values of the 56 vs. 81. I know the 56 is a much harder machine to find so I myself thought value was slightly more but I don't think that anymore. I would put it's value higher then the A but not the B nor D. Almost feel the 56 is more of a collector machine because most people who want just 1 coke machine want the 81 for it's design where they have never heard or seen a 56.

The 56 downside is squatty with a large coin door for it's size. Upside is it's a very small multi-vend machine. it's actually the same height as the 33.

I'm asking because I bought a 56, always been one of my favorite machines, but original condition is not as good as I thought so I tried to sell as is. Admittingly I was asking a lot with no bites so now I'm having machine restored.

I like the 56 a lot and prefer its smaller size, but the 81 has rounder corners, holds more product and the biggest plus is the light up door which the 56 doesn't have.  Hard to go wrong with either one though.  Most people in general aren't aware about which machine is more rare than another.  I would pick a 56 over an 81A or B but it seems the 81s bring more in general.
