This is in my state, not real close to me - just wondering what you guys think it is worth.

Also, is it possible to vend 12 oz bottles out of this ?

here is the ebay link : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....03&rd=1

Thanks

I ended up winning this V-83.

Sorry Dave, I was in Mexico and bid without knowing that a fellow Soda-Machines.com member was also going to bid.
Did you end up bidding?

It will be another long drive for me (5 hours and 45 minutes drive each way!), and the machine looks a bit rough, but I couldn't resist getting a 1950's roundtop with honeycomb drum and attached original water fountain for a mere $61!

What's with me driving across Minnesota and most of Iowa for Coke machines lately?

Anyway, a new paintjob will do wonders and probably some work inside (who knows), but it will be pretty cool once it is fixed up. Looks like it was originally all red (with white embossed script) and then they tried to paint a white top on it, but sadly they had never heard of masking tape. '<img'>

The Soda Machines section here describes the V83 as, "The Vendo 83 is a large and heavy machine!"
And Dimensions: 63" high, 32 1/2" wide, 18" deep
Weight: 450 lbs.

Now for the big question, if I remove the two back rows of seats, can I transport this machine in my minivan? I soooo hope that I can.

450 pounds is just like 3 or four people riding in it, right? And that's without the added weight of the seats.

Let me know. Thanks so much.

It's a big heavy machine but I don't think you will have any problems.

Oops,
Got to this thread after responding to the other. Kewl box. Drum machines are quite the engineering feat. It's only 5' 3" so should be no problem. Have fun on the drive. The minivan should just about have autopilot by now :-)

Would LOVE to, but she is a HIGH POWER lawyer and she needs to pick up clients in her nice Acura RL and would lose those clients if she showed up in a 2001 minivan. '<img'>

Plus Coke machines don't fit in Acura RL's.

No Big Deal Kito - it was a 3.5 to 4 hour drive for me one way - I didn't really want it too bad - I thought about going $ 100 on it - decided I really didn't want it.

Hope it works out good for you.

So do we have legal advice for any "oops" we might find ourselves in? I have several friends that took the same career path. Good folks to stay in touch with :-)

I'm actually considering removing the water fountain from the V-83, cleaning it up very thoroughly and then installing it on my V-216MD that is near our kitchen so that my boys and I would have a functioning drinking fountain in our house. How cool would that be?!!!! '<img'>
