Wondering what any of you think is a fair price on a generic VMC 88 machine that's missing the bottle stack.

I was 100% sure that it was a generic based on the sellers answers to my questions....  but now I'm doubtful as the seller does not want to remove a plastic sign where the Pepsi, Coke or dare I say it, 7up embossing would be, until she has cash in hand.
BUT she says that she can see behind the sign (don't know how she can  glare) and there are no embossed letters of any kind.

Any insight would help my decision...  not like I NEED another machine lol

Pepsi $600
Coke $1300
7up infinity
Generic less than infinity.

What color is it now? If you see any chips with blue paint underneath.....pass!  Look for signs of red or white.

Right now its 3 striped red white and blue on the sides, and that pepsi baby blue on the front.....
It appears the ID tag is missing, so it makes me think the machine was painted at one time after leaving the factory.

Yes, that is a sign that Pepsi updated this machine with their new color scheme.

I'm starting to think the same thing...... the fact that the lady wants cash in hand before I or her will take the sign off made me NOT go there today to get the machine.
I educated her on the 4 different 88's that are out there, as well as single vend machines vs multi.... so I have a feeling that telling her the Pepsi embossed is the most common,.. she actually did take the sign off, and saw the Pepsi.....
I can guarantee that with her new knowledge on the 88's... if it were Coke or a 7up she would have negotiated with me based on that.
