I saw glassbottlesrule's post about getting a Defender video game.  This got me wondering - what other coin-op things do all of you collect (besides soda machines)?
I'll start:
-Video games
-Pinball machine
-Jukebox (and wallboxes)
-Gumball machines
(I think I'll get a parking meter next!)

I have a couple of restored 45 rpm juke boxes, one is a 1951 seeburg and the other is a 1955 rockola. I also have a stoner jr., nickel pinball payout machine from the late 30's, gumballs, a couple of mechanical pinballs, a national cigarette machine and several round tops. I also have a parking meter next to my driveway. I opened the coin door last summer and found a few bucks in there? Go figure. Terry

I have a few old slot machines. One columbia and a Mills hightop. One topper gumball and a bunch of square tops. Well the slots actually belong to my father and he is going to have me try to sell them at Chicago.

Unlike the rest of you I started with video games.  I've been into upright arcade games for a few years now.  I started buying glass sodapop and needed somewhere to put it, bought my first machine and was hooked.  I've been looking for a nice pin for years but the right one at the right price has never came along(I'm cheap)  Had a nice Rockola but someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse last year.  Someday when I'm rich I'm going to get a coin-op popcorn machine.

I like antiques of all kinds and have a shop.  I've got a juke box, slot machine, soda machines, gum ball machine, cigarette machine, and a parking meter (mine's in the bathroom).

When I relocated from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Stuart, FL, I sold much of what I had collected over the years... I kept one jukebox, a Seeburg V-200, which has all the accessories including the Seeburg Microphone System, MP3-L56. I also kept one mechanical pinball machine, one clock face gas pump, and one soda machine, a Vendo 81B that needs to be restored.

I really like advertising stuff... I did keep most of my sign collection which is currently over thirty signs ranging from cardboard to flange and dating from 1908 to two reproductions flange signs. I have various other artifacts called point-of-purchase items. I collect items in the original selling display whether it is candy, medicine, or some other type of oddity. I like these due to their rarity because many of these types of items where discarded. After having gas pumps, jukeboxes, soda machines and an occassional pinball in every room in my home, we decided to look for smaller things to collect...

Eric,
I also have a 50's coin-op pay phone. It is chrome plated, I bought it in las vegas and was told it came out of a casino. We had it completely reworked and we use it in our living room. You should see the looks on our kid's friends when they ask to use the phone and we point to it. They are not sure what to do with a rotary dial phone. Terry

I have three pinball machines and actually was a pinhead until I stumbled into this addicting hobby also. I know a lot more about pins but my soda machine info grows daily thanks to this site and ebay.
