Any tricks for removing the hinge pins on the bottle door? All and any advice welcomed oh

        Drive the pin in 2", then remove spring, clamp pin with vice grips and remove.

       I have found re-installation is easiest by screwing both halves of the hinge to a piece of wood.
       Then wind the spring as tight as possible while driving the pin back in place.

Thanks MoonDawg, I will give it shot, already have it screwed to a piece of wood so I wouldn't bend the hinge assembly. It looks like the pins are slightly larger than main hinge plate( they are expanding the plate where they are seated now, by driving them in further does this require me crimping the newly expanded area back down before final fit and finish?) is it normal/ original to have the springs unpainted, seems like they should be left unpainted?Huh??

squirt some WD-40 in there too.... Lots of Lube always helps.
