I got talked into restoring a 51  darn

I'm stumped as to how to remove the fanblade. It has a hub but I see no setscrew to release it.
       Anyone familliar with this?
                                        Thanks

Can you gently slide it off the post of the motor shaft ??  Perhaps it locks into placed when the blade is installed onto the motor shaft??

On the back side of the motor out a screw driver to prevent it from spinning and then turn the blades counter clock wise and it should come off. I hope i remembered that right? oops

That is very good information , just not good if there has been a lot of moisture on the shaft would be very hard to get off.
