It is definitely different ! I have never seen one. Very cool. Does it work ?

It is a 1948-ish water cooler.  There would have been a water bottle that sat on top.  Yours is missing the spigot and paper cup holder.  Someone added the soda stickers in the era.

I think you're right!  Thanks for the information!   I don't own it - was considering purchasing.
