As someone who's been fabbing shower door's for years I would never use shower door stock to make a door for a machine.  It just wouldn't look right and any hinge you tried to attach it to the machine with would be a botch job.  Find a donor machine and modify it's door to fit you will be much happier.

Still unloading parts from my weekend purchase. Just ready to trash some bottle doors. Most have Cavalier handle but one has a Vendo handle.
        It measures 34" X 5 1/2".  Could this  be for a V 90?
If so. it's complete with glass and hinge.. FREE

MoonDawg,
Got a bottle (or can) stack and shelves that would fit in my Pepsi V-77?
How about the glass door for a V-56?

Kito - Appreciate the compliment! Yeah, I totally love this hobby and if something is close to me or I don't need it, I see no reason to hoard crud I have know I will have no future use for. Plus I think it definitely helps the hobby to grow and especially our community here on SMC to kinda build a cohesion of sorts.

Plus I like to see others get a virtual smile on their face when they get a chance to resurrect or finish a machine!! '<img'>  So, If there is a general consensus between the principals in this (and some wierdo doesn't beat us to it) I'd have no prob snagging that machine and parting it out.

besides the machine might only have a bad fan motor stoping it from cooling. You never know for $30 you might get a spare cooling unit.

No 56 door but 2 56 bottle stacks ans 2 C-64 stacks.
I have shelves that I don't know what they're for. What is the overall length you need?

Glen (or anyone) - I'm looking for 2 shelves for a VMC56.  Also looking for the exact change light assembly (or some thoughts on how to make one?)?

Bryan,
Could you post a picture of the correct change assembly you are talking about? I'm just curious and am pretty handy at electrical solutions.

Before you go and spend a bunch of dough on stuff like light fixtures and bulbs that are touted by some as "the only proper replacement" and then find out when they arrive that they are the same part you could could purchase TODAY for 1/3 less at you local Lowes/hardware store, it's good to check here first like you did. I just got bit by that very animal myself and it ain't gonna happen again!

Sorry to kinda' hijack your thread! Let's see what that correct change light looks light! '<img'>
