Remember this Justin...
Forgiveness can take two weeks... Permission may take a life time!
Just buy one, she'll forgive! Eventually... '>

Jim, Nice gleaming of the cube. I used to shred in my past life too. Great photos. But you still haven't answered my age quesion. Boy have I used Jim's forgiveness strategy while filling my gameroom, home theater and now Coke Machine garage! Glad that I am still married.

I have not taken a good photo since about...60lbs ago. Like Jim, most of my life was spent in the fire dept...with various other activities interspersed. I went back to school in my late 20's, ended up doing some flammability research for NASA for a few years that contributed to the design of the fire suppression and detection system on the Int. Space Station. One degree led to another and in 1999 I took a position starting up and subsequently running a Fire Safety Engineering program at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. My other hobby, trying to get my doctoral dissertation finished up.
As for asking permission versus forgiveness…Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes fame once said “questions you already know the answer to...you don’t have to ask”. Such a true and perspicacious observation from such a young lad.
Photo: Me and my kind, loving and mostly understanding wife.

All I can say is great to be able to put a face with a name.
I dont like having my pic taken so there are very few I have. I'll find one though.
Im a former banker and now run my own business from my home. Ebay junkie.Married, 1 teenager, a 6 year old Dachshund Jasmine. Great dogs. 1 very hyper cat. A Steve Perry/Journey junkie. Grew up in my dads auto repair shop, I think that's where my "tinkering" with any thing mechanical comes from. Or a side effect from the bondo and paint fumes.

Heya Jim, Nice action shot there. My oldest son was a pretty good freestyle skate boarder until he went into the USAF. Most of my hobbies revolve around "horsepower".
