I almost finished with the 81, 1 1/2 years later. Lost interest, now I am back at it. Having a problem with the door,

latching shut. Its like I missing something. Seems to me the latch needs to move forward, not sure. Any suggestions? Few touch ups, & in the house it goes,

with my 81 pepsi. I have to finish before I start on my Canteen candy machine, really excited about that. Thanks Mike

did you ensure the washer, (think it is 1/4") behind the latch were there>  They should be the plastic washers if memory serves me right.

I put washers behind latch, still doesn't latch. I am going to work it this weekend, when all the kids leave. Thanks Mike

The new seal will make it hard to close for a few week .
Not a lot can go wrong as far as the door closing . It does use special spacers behind the latch plate .
