Does that backplate have holes so it could be mounted to the wall?

Yep, there are three holes for screws, they bump out about 1/8" to hold it slightly off the wall

I was number 1. Hooray. that's what happens when you are bored with work and check this site 30 times a day. Paid off..
made space for the old girl already. mrs B is happy because its the Xmas pressie sorted out and I'm happy because its not socks again.
