I want to leave the inner cabinet, components, and door original unpainted galvanized, Cav 72. What would you recommend on how to give the metal a new/ish look. Is there a chemical cleaner? Maybe soda blasting very mild abrasive that wont effect the galvanized coating?
Thank You

The liners come out real easy.
I would have it powdercoated will hold up for many years of use!
SOS pads work too!!

Welcome to the board.
I would start with a few nylon brush's and boiling hot water with a bit of Dawn dishwashing liqued tossed in. SOS pads can cause scratching. CLR if left on too long will eat the galvi platiing right off.
Should clean up fine. Unless machine will be in a heavy use area I have never seen the need for the expense of powdercoating.

What about using a Automotive Wash & Wax soap? If its good enough not to strip off the paint on your car, and then protect it, is it ok to use on the galvanized inside of a machine?
