Just caught this photo today, though I did see they were using Coke 6-packs as the tee markers at the PGA Tour Championship.  The winner got a restored V-39, small hat compared to the $11.4 million he just won as well, but still kind of cool.  Coke also gave one away to the winner of the NASCAR Coke 600 earlier this year, looks like someone must have a nice contract with Coke to start making these prizes.

Is that Rory McIlroy? (try to say that name five times fast  biggrin)

About the 39, is it a restored original or reproduction?

Terry Kimble out of Atlanta GA does them for Coke. He does great work and uses only the best parts (hint).  biggrin

Nice restoration.   Done correctly and not pinstriped all over.  Not that I want Funtronics to lose any sales but I would have left the "coke in hand" decals off of the sides.  I wonder if he gets a lifetime supply of cokes to fill it?

They should have a Vendo 63 ready to give out if somebody shoots 9 under! happydrinkers

I propose that the Masters' winner receive a fully restored V81 with the green jacket.

On second thought, a Coke machine would look funny with a green jacket on it.  biggrin

I think they had a vendo 44 last year or the year before. It was sitting inside a cool custom wooden showcase.   Very Neat.
