Hi - I just get a cavalier 55. Its very clean and the loading instructions are there. I have 2 questions.
1)I cant figure out what the back spacer is supposed to rest on. it has a notch near the roof for the spacer to do cans, and the instructions show that on the door sticker. However, it doesnt tell you where it should rest on at the bottom , and the tabs/mounting bracket on the side walls dont come out to support it (ok for 10oz and 12 oz bottles). I am at a loss at to what it sets on.
2)- should it take something other than dimes? The coin mechanism looks really clean, it has a 'correct change' light that has a good bulb but doesnt light up, and wiring for the light. However, only dimes work, everyhting else drops thru. It seems like it should or was designed to.I will post this question in coin mech forum also.

Well, I'll tell ya, tommy8244.  I've asked the same question - and I remain baffled by this one.

Funny thing is the left side (mine's two selection - I don't know if that matters) has the bottom piece with the slot to allow you to bring the spacer up front enough to accomodate cans.  The right side does not - and there's no trace of anything ever being there! '<img'>   Both sides have the top can slots there.  Very strange.

I've wondered if one side was for cans and the other ONLY for bottles but that makes no sense.

I can take a picture of the bottom "can" slot piece if you want so you can see what it looks like.  Still baffles me why one side has it and the other doesn't, though.
