I was at an Estate Auction in Dripping Springs Texas today, where they had a really nice unrestored Vendo 81B. A beautiful machine, but there were some dedicated collectors too. Top bid was $3,000. I was talking to a kid (looked to be about 18) at the auction. Turns out it was his house and he had grown up with the coke machine. He had a lot of good memories and thought it was very cool that it brought that much. So, it was good all around, just wish I was the one taking the machine home.

Pretty well educated bidders, I think.
$3000.00 is the current market value of a nice original B or D......double what it was just 10 years ago!  jawdrop
