I just found this on Craigslist It is an Ideal 55 embossed Pepsi slider with a water fountain He is asking $600 don't know if he has all the parts

Looks like it is missing the rack and the coin mech for starters.  That's $500+ in parts if you are wanting to restore it to original operating condition. 

The water fountain is not an added bonus, more of a detractor - it is mounted where the coin mech should go. 

Personally I would pass for that price and condition.

Thanks I am too far away from this guy but I never seen a water fountain on an Ideal slider so I decided to post it and get some information from the guys in here

Some shop owners would have these installed as a way to offer free cold water to their customers.  I think they were strictly after-market.

They could use the refrigeration system already in the machine to cool a coil of copper tubing flowing through the cabinet.  I have a VMC33 with the same water fountain setup.

 I believe Some one Installed the fountain To cover the Missing Coin Mech .I''ve seen a couple With Original Fountain's installed and there Always on the Right Rear

If that was one of the other sliders and not pepsi, it might be a good find. Since its pepsi, its pretty common and get parted out a lot. I have a complete one that is sadly worth more in parts then as a machine. Its going in for the old chop,chop pretty soon.

I'd keep looking, I have two complete and working Pepsi's and got both for under $500 each.
