Will the VMC hold most 12 oz bottles, or only the small Cokes and similar? I passed on a Vendo 83 once because the drum held only the smaller bottles.

Anyone? I was offered this for 800 before it went on eBay, but have passed. Thought it might be too much.

It's beautiful, but you'd think since it looks so shiny and good, they would have at least dusted off the compressor etc., before taking the photos.

It isn't origional is it? I have never seen one painted red on the inside. It looks rather odd if you ask me.

I had one and they are red on the inside where the mech is. The little coin box is aluminum. Looks nice...... I could have bought a embossed Pepsi at Chicago 2 years ago for $800.... Again what was I thinking!!! Am I learning anything?!!!! The Coke wording is not embossed on these. but are really nice size. Nice machine....As far as price... as always.... Pay what you feel it's worth.... They are always going to go up in value.

We can't call this an original machine. The compressor is a newer model and the cabinet has been repainted. Have no respect for anyone who paints the door gasket with the door. The Id plate / sold out flag were not removed prior to painting. I doubt much prepreation was done prior to spraying so if this new paint starts flaking off................. Give me an untouched original machine any day

Good eyes! I missed that the first time around. Yeah, has the feel of a "quick fix" machine.

Ok, thanks guys. That was the type of info I was looking for. Most likely any machine I get I would be paying to have restored and don't want to go way overboard. I have had a Vendo 63 for probably 11 years now and haven't had anything done to it. I just haven't been able to justify spending the $ on it, but the popularity of the "squares" does seem to be increasing.
