Craigslist search result changes

I have been searching CL as usual the last week and have noticed that a lot of the same results keep popping up.  I finally noticed in the top right corner they expanded the results options to "Newest, Relevant, $$$, $$$"

It defaults to 'Relevant', which isn't the newest stuff that is being posted.  Kind of annoying, not sure if you can change it in the user settings, but a heads-up none the less.

Mine still defaults to newest but what do they mean by relevant?

I have noticed that , I am not sure how to change it but I did search by price and get some different results.

       I placed an ad yesterday and they now have a box at the beginning asking for: 

       (A) preferred contact method

       (B) phone number

       (C) contact name.

        I thought this info would be published into the ad but unfortunately it is not!

It is sort of published, if you put your phone number in, when the person clicks the reply button the phone number then shows.
