Just curious what you guys are putting in your machines. Are you going the nostalgic route with retro bottles and flavors? If so, where do you get them and how much.
Or, are you just stocking with beer, coke, water, something else? Plastic, glass, or cans? Free-vend or pay?
(Maybe we should do a poll on this.....)

Sorry for rehashing old ground. I just found the thread from Jul/Aug on bottled drinks.
Another question arises from reading that thread, though. How many of you rebottle their own sodas? In one post Adam101 mentioned that he uses a "breakmate machine". How does this work? Is it worthwhile if I had, say... 80 bottles or so?

I have store bought bottles in mine. The only thing that is plastic is the water - I only use Deja-Blue since the bottles are stiff. Let's see here what's in the Vendo...

Hello
Ice House, Bud, Molsen Golden, Killens Red, Cream Soda, Root Beer & top row in Machine two bottle water plastic.
During the party when I had three machines running I also had Bud Light, Coors Light, Corona.

Paul It depends on how much you can get Coke in bottles where your at and then figure the cost for those as opposed to Buying something to refill bottles with Like a Breakmate or Wunderbar etc. I can tell you this If I were to Buy the little breakmate boxes filled with syurp, as opposed to refilling them with Syrup from a 5 gal bag in box the price is MORE per OZ then a 2 Liter However as soon as you Get the Bulk syrup and to another extent Bulk CO2 then the price shoots down to I believe 2 cents per 10 oz ( Ie one bottle). From there you judt need to run the numbers( math time) and add up Costs Upfront and then Add up what 80 bottles would cost to buy and divide and see how long it will take for you to break even. Hopefully that helps some more Adam

Smirnoff ice, Steward soda and bottle water .

Currently running the Cavalier CS80:
Canada Dry Ginger Ale
Harpoon IPA
IBC Orange Cream Soda
Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice
and a few bottles of white wine laying lengthwise on the racks staying chilled.
