Saw this gum vendor for sale and was wondering what a reasonable offer is if it has two keys and supposedly works.  Also curious if they is still gum made that fits it.   Any info is appreciated.................

This is not a vintage gum vendor. Just made to look old. They appear in their hundreds on eBay and I believe that its possible to vend the stick gum from it. Last time I was in the US I had trouble finds stick gum in Walmart?Huh?

I bought one a few months back for $70 on craigslist. Fully functional and the price I paid was what the broken ones were going for on eBay.

Guy I bought it from got it at J&R tobacco back in the 80's. Figured it wasn't very old when I saw the 1-800 number on the back of it.

Great little machine for what it is. Dispenses regular stick gum, picked up a bunch of it from the dollar store.

I agree with Dave, they are just made to look old and I see them allot in the antique shops advertising them as vintage and asking big $$

You can still buy Wrieghts stick gum for it http://www.wrigley.com/global/brands/doublemint.aspx

 I think $70 wasn't a bad price for a working one.

They are selling for that much on eBay so that's probably what he's going on. They are cool but not $140 cool
