starting to restore the v 39 back to a coca cola machine as it should be, A little rust behind the metal covering the front but not too bad. Do you think the PPG paint is the best to match coke red ?

PPG will work just fine!

According to my local PPG dealer there are over 50 shades of Coke red in their system. The older red is more of a deep red while the newer has more of an orange tint to it. Pick one you like and roll with it.

I use PPG shop line paint that is base / Clear, and also use a PPG Essential single stage that is 3 part both are good quality the single stage is what a lot of the fleet trucks are using it has awesome gloss and very durable.
