Looks like either a counter top piece or from a top of a machine....suppose to be lit?

Could also have been on top of a dispenser. Lighted for sure. Nice piece.

        Pretty authentic looking, thanks for posting.

        I think Creighton is on track.  It is a lightbox but what's with that etched glass?

        Maybe diffused light from the small Have a Coke light would make the letters look frosted on an ice machine?

I'm not sure as far as the etched glass...actually plastic I think.
I've never seen a piece like this.
I want to light it ....wondering what's the best way...I should probably
Defuse the light so as to not be as bright and not see the bulb.
I'll probably end up selling it eventually even tho the little lady says no

Goes to a Coke dispenser for sure, 1960's model just not sure the brand\manufacturer.
