I have been looking for a nice one of these for a long time and I finally found one.  A Mills Bursting Cherry 10 cent slot machine.  The machine is relatively untouched except for some paint work on the face and a few springs on the inside.  The darn thing works like a champ--they just don't make stuff like they used to.  It even has the original Mills lock and key.

Having a blast playing with it and it works perfectly everytime.  I can not believe how heavy thise little things are.

A few more including the key.  Anyone know where I might track down an extra?

See there's some on eBay. Not sure if they match your machine. There are some blanks for sale on there as well. Locksmith might be able to cut.

I never found anyone who can cut those keys.  Hard to pick too.

What a great find Tim!  That would be the only way to buy one with the keys, and it in working condition!!

Awesome machine Tim.  I've been keeping my eye out for an old slot for a while myself.  That one really looks nice.  Did you  have anything specific you were looking for or did that machine just pop up at the right time?

Brian--other than looking for a Mills, I did not have this particular model in mind.  I wanted either a penny, nickel or dime machine as well.  Just tripped across this one on CL and was able to get it before someone else.  I have played it enough that my arm is getting sore.  It amazes me that something this old works as well as it does.

My kids and their friends love the slot I have and some of them have hit the Jackpot a few times. Mine is a nickel slot. I need to make a stand for it as it just sits on the subwoofer now.
Have you hit the JP yet?
I have a bunch of keys - I'll look through them and see if I have your number.

Can probability of payouts be adjusted?    Seems there has always been a gaming commision assigned to inspecting slots.
