He means "Coinco S-75" coin mechanism. Very plentiful on e-bay. Make sure the seller says it was tested and it works.  Your machine has the 3 attatching studs or screws you will need to hang it, and it just plugs into a 9 pin socket

I picked up the above machine today and it is in pretty good shape. I really like it a lot.
I will start a new thread to get advice on a few cut wires, etc.

Two last questions here:
The machine says 10 cents and that is how I would like it. Can the "Coinco S-75" be set to just accept 10 cents per bottle/can?

Also, later if I want it to be free, is it possible to set it (or hack it) for that?

My "winky" means nothing sinister, '>  just a friendly "icon"...Thanks for the correction on the model no.'s  MoonDawg, (never type fast when you're tired) the Coinco S-75 series will work for most 115volt/AC machines...[beware! some S-75 9800 A/B models are for use in 24/volt AC machines only!!! & will be labeled as such...when in doubt, check the voltage rating on the little transformer inside the mech. just behind the slug-rejector]

The "A" model is the earlier version, it has a metal cover over the rejected coin chute,& it can set the vend price from 5-cents up to 75-cents, by means of 4 small slide switches located behind the slug rejector of the mech.

The "B" model has a molded plastic cover over the coin chute, & can set the price from 5-cents up to $1.55 per vend, by means of 5 slide type "dip" switches located behind the slug rejector.

both are single price coinmechs. meaning all products will sell for the single "set" price. & will give change in Nickles.

Long story short...yes, it will work fine

The minimum price (if you use these coinmechs) is 5-cents,
and no "free-play" setting is provided, you will have to use an external switch wired as follows (see attatched diagram), this will allow you to have a "free-play" (hidden if you wish) and/or also use the coinmech as well, my guest's enjoy plunking a dime into my old machines, just to see them work, so I keep a dish with dimes & nickels right on top, (I use the free-play switch myself !)

PS.. this "free-play switch will also allow you trouble-shoot a machine & help you determine if it's a coinmech problem, or a vending circut problem, should the need arise. kind handy!
