Any thoughts on what this is worth in working condition?  I have 2 working non embossed sliders but I always wanted an embossed Pepsi.

Tricky question.   smile

I'll take a shot.  I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it!!   censored

ok...seriously... In what is only MY opinion, I would say around $800-$1000 if complete and working, in the real world.  Assuming it is not a rust-bucket, hard to tell from the pics.

I'm asking on the lower end of that range for my Glasco Coke slider.  Mine is not embossed, but it is in better cosmetic shape than this one.  I figure the two balance each other out a bit.

I wouldn't pay more than $500 for it.

Rack/flapper worth $200, Coin mech worth $250, cap catcher $50.

Pepsi Sliders don't sell.  Had a couple for years with no takers.  I know Jim Beschen bought one for around $500 months ago, and I believe he hard a hard time flipping it for a profit.

Slider Bob,

Why is it called a flapper?  Does it flap?  It's just a slider rack to vend the bottles correct?

No idea on why it's called a 'flapper'.  It doesn't flap!  Also known as a 'bottle gate'.

When connected to the shaft on the coin mech, it only allows one bottle to vend per coin denomination sliding thru the rack rail thru the bottle gate.

Add shipping to all of bobs prices if your looking at it from a piece meal standpoint of value if your buying it alk separately. Then you have the box too.. Or hinges, bottle door, inside and outside lock, top door, lid stops, shelf... There is some hard money if that's what you use to value it.

Its definitely worth something....
