Bought a old Northwestern Gumball machine from the original vendor years back... He had a route from Springfield, MO up to Kansas City, MO
that's how he made his living off these old gumball machine.. He said he had tons of these machines at every gas station, store, etc.... He still
had several in his garage mostly 50s OAKS and Toppers... the good stuff lined his living room... He had books and knew what he had...wish I
would have bought the Hawkeye he had, was NOS! down
Said he and his wife would drive the route with canvas bags empty the change and refill the machines... WOW what a life... Seemed to love it.

Funny you mentioned Springfield Mo, that is where this photo was allegedly taken. I think I know where your vendor is getting his stash  biggrin
