I have a vendo 56 coke machine and its always plugged in my garage I opened it up to fill it up with coke bottles and noticed a puddle of water under the compressor. How much condensation should I expect ? And is that normal to have water under the compressor.

That's completely normal. If it becomes an issue for you location the drain tube in the compressor compartment and put a drip tray under it. Since its in your garage I would just let it go.

All machines should have a condensation collector, whether it is a jar or pan. You are missing something, but yes it is normal for the machine to discharge water. Amount seems to fluctuate with the humidity.

You'll find condensation water going all over the compressor area if your drain tubing is missing or cracked, and your drain pan or jar is missing.

I just looked at my compressor compartment and saw that there was a drain tube but think its plugged cuz I followed it and it drains under the machine. How do I unplug it or what's the best way about going about this ? Thanks

Stick something in it and clear out the crud, us a stiff wire or maybe just some compressed air will do it as well.

Good Luck

Had the same issue myself. My drip tube starts in the upper cabinet under the evaporator (Westy 102) and I just bought some clear tubing, connected it, and ran it to the bottom of my machine to a pan underneath.

The clip that connects the two tubes was just allowing debris to build up. Took off the pin, ran a bent clothes hanger through it, and followed that with some compressed air.

You can buy a cheap spring- drain unplugger at harbor freight for $4... It's about 2 ft long. And works great.
