Machine sell??

well i had a rental house and my brother had this old coca-cola soda machine and he left it there.  Its suposto have all the peaces to put it back in working order but alot of it is taken apart not all of it though i was wondering if it had any value and if there is any thing that could tell me how old it is.  ill try to get my brother to take some pictures of it so i could show them to people and see if its worth anything or if i just take it to the junkyard.

A photo is a big help in identifying this machine of yours.
Also you might want to look for a tag on the side of the
machine .   Is it a sq. top  or a round top .

what my brother said about it is that its the type of machine that gives the cup then pours the soda but i dont know about a year on it

It will be hard to estimate exactly what it is worth.  The cup vendors arent nearly as sought after as the bottle machines.  Also with this one weighing 600 pounds, it will take a collector who is wanting one most likely.  You should get some good pics and put it on auction here on this site and someone will probably buy it.  I know I will buy just about any machine if the price is right .  Where iis it located?

right now any dollar amount would make me happy it definently would be a project for who ever wants it. i'm located near fresno cali well my dad was going to take it to the dump tomarow so if its worth suntin then i need to know soon but i think ive convinced him not to junk it

Well, CA is a tad far for me to go, but I am sure there is someone out there who would want it.  Put a ad on this site and in your paper.  Even post an auction on this site or ebay with no reserve and someone will buy it.  Good luck.

You didn't answer if it's actually a Lyon 1400 as Archimedes posted a link to that model...

The Lyon (earlier versions spelled Lion) machines are not very common. Unfortunately, the 1400 is one of the largest cup vendors Lyon manufactured so I'm not exactly sure what this will sell for...

SMC Auctions is "Free" for a limited time and we would love to have you post it there...  Since this is a New Service, the amount of visitors isn't as large as the other auction houses... At least for now...  We're hoping this will increase in the near future!!!!
