Never needed a four letter word for a laugh. One of the best.

Jonathan Winters was an incredibly talented and funny comedian--absolutely brilliant.  His performances were clean comedy that could be enjoyed by the entire family.  I loved him in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World".  Simply hilarious.  RIP JW

It's a shame to lose such a great talent. To bad many of the comics that claim he was their inspiration didn't pay close enough attention to figure out you don't have to be vulger to be funny.

I remember JW's variety show and, of course, Mork & Mindy. He had a quick wit and funny faces to go along with it. A legend that will surely be missed!

Truly a great talent, he will be missed.

If you enjoy his style of 'clean' comedy, check out John Pinette sometime - one of the funniest guys I've ever seen.

I have talked to him serveral times. I worked in the local Vons Grocery store where he lived in Montecito, that is a very upscale town right next to Santa Barbara. I didn't live there, only worked there. He was a great guy, always took the time to talk to everybody and gave them all the time they wanted. Will be missed for sure.
