Amount of paint to get.

How many rattle cans of paint does it take to cover a slider? I'm thinking of sanding one down and want to have enough primer to make sure it isn't sitting there for a long time with exposed metal.

Eight is a start 10 better. Course depends on the size of the slider. Good luck.

Just shoot it with a paintball gun. It helps relieve stress and gets your slider painted at the same time.

Not to hijack the thread but I just got an Iphone 5 with Siri.  I asked Siri "What is the airspeed velocity of a swallow"
 
The phone replied "The last personwho asked me that ended up in a crevasse!"

So somebody at Apple has a sense of humor!

I used 10 on mine but I did use a primer that I left on under my finish coats.
