Some of you may know this person due to the rarity of these machines but here goes anyway. I saw an email address listed online for someone who has a couple Coca Cola decappers and he was asking someone a question on a website. Not this one! I thought I would take a gamble and see if he was interested in selling either of them. I sent an email and I got a reply I wasn't expecting. Do you think I took his response the wrong way? You decide...

My first email

Are you selling any of your coca cola decappers? I just saw a post and was
wondering. Thanks

His response email

No,
FYI, Decappers are now $450,000 USD and sold as Industrial revolution smithsonian quality items, not coke machines.

Regards.

My second email

Lol.  Good luck with that. I guess my 1924 Coca Cola Siphonmix must be worth 1,000,000 USD. Maybe I'll call the Smithsonian and let them know. I didn't realize these Coca Cola Machines were worth so much. FYI. These MACHINES were used for dispensing Coca Cola and putting a smile on people's faces. Maybe you should try using yours and see if it helps your !%@$ty attitude.

LOL. I couldn't help myself. I had to vent. Everyone I've met so far involved in collecting soda related items have been very friendly and helpful. I was bound to find one snob in 24 years. I guess that's not to bad of odd's biggrin

He is definitely not doing that. I thought the same thing you did when I read it. It seemed pretty clear to me also.

That has to be the most expensive Coke machine I ever heard of. Oops I meant industrial revolution Smithsonian quality item. My sincere apologies, I lost my mind for a moment there.  tounge

Hahaha  It sound so much more expensive when its said that way doesn't it. I think you could add that line to anything and get at least 400,000 more. Example
For Sale--- industrial revolution Smithsonian quality 1985 Ford Escort for only $400,500

I thought Alan Huffman had the last Pilot Model left in the U.S.?  Wasn't there only 7 made?
