It's often the "catch 22" between wanting Champagne on a beer budget...
be it reproducing an obsolete part or service work too...I have people calling all the time,
Q) " I have this "Coke" cooler [found behind a dumpster] I want in my basement 'cause it would look
soooooo cool! but it needs a new compressor, wiring, etc, etc. can you repair it for less than $100? ,
A) (umm, No. it will run quite a bit more sir, [insert real world price here])..
Q) Oh, well, your price is way too high! ( based on what I don't know), well don't you have a used compressor you can slap into it that will do?
A) (sure, they're in the dumpster out back, help yourself)
It's natural that people want the path of least resistance (cost), I don't like spending more than I think it's "worth" I've always considered this to be the "
Perceived Value" of a good(s) or service(s).
well maybe I'm a little off track , but you get the gist of it.
Anyway, I see the point, cost vs viability.
