Fantasy machine

Hi everyone

I don't know if it's right forum. I live in sweden and have been member here 2 months. I have always like classic cars (American) so it came naturally to decorate my home with hubcaps and a jukebox and a have some gaspumps i should restore for lighting up my livingroom.

I have long time want to have a embossed red/white coke machine. but here is no market for restoration objekts but i fuond a vendo 56 squaretop electric coke-machine. so i start to modify it to a roundtop. i tear it up and weld and i must make the main door almost from scrath.

I have buy some parts from here. But now i have change my mind i don't want to build something that someone in future may try to sell as an original roundtop even if there is lot of details wich expose it is a custom. i save the white id tag on the square-top side.


So now i have decided to turn it into a fantasy machine instead. So i wonder whats the opinion here?

i have only see one fantasy (rt) v56 (pepsi) but a lot of generic 81. Anyone have more link to pictures on roundtop fantasy v56 ?

When i have came little longer in the progress i can post some pics.

But i still must have a coke machine so i have announce in the swap-meet area.

I think a Pepsi 56 would look great...or an orange crush or squirt even.

Right now i like the old crush logo on orange background (even if i never had seen a crush soda in my life) Very inspired of the white and orange vmc 81 i saw at this forum.

In the squaretop i have a working 230v system. i think it was made for swedish/european market.

But i hope i may can use the cooling system from some 70's machines ?    i sometimes see for sale nearby. if i buy a roundtop from usa


Does anyone know if a new r134a filled compressor is compatible with the old freon radiators and tubes ?
