Machine is complete, hate to part it out as it's a first Gen with the panel in the back to project the cooling system/store the cord.  It cools, but not cool enough so probably just needs a charge, and the front coin door has a small dent in it.  Has original lock and chicago keys.

Asking 850, otherwise going to part it out.

sometimes things are too ugly to sell as is.

Posted it on ebay for a grand, or best offer... I don't know if anyone will buy it unless they wanted to have a machine to restore....

Ugly generally doesn't sell well.

Clean and mask the coin door bezels and the bottle door.
Apply 2 to 3 cans of red spraypaint and try E-bay again.

I think this may be the best option, I'd hate to part this out.. It's in such great condition.

Was it painted over with a spray gun or a brush?  I had a machine that was painted black over the Pepsi red/white/blue, and I had some luck taking aircraft stripper in light amounts to get the top layer of paint off.  It might help the resale value on this one to give it a shot, I would think it'd draw more attention showing some red.  They make spray cans of the stripper which could help even out the spray.

Pics were upside down when I looked at the post on my iphone, but are fine on the Macbook
