I picked up this old Firebox today I'm not familiar with this style or make?? Anyone ever see one like this?     Any idea on value? It works and looks complete with the exception of the cracked glass. Thanks, Joey |

Would be wired to the nearest fire station. If pressed a switch box would show which box had been activated and fire truck was on it's way.

Firebox's sent a morse code to the fire dept to alarm a fire. Pre cell phones and before most people had a land line.

I will take some pictures of some of old fire boxes down at our old station. We still have some old active gamewell pull boxes.
I also have an old call box for sale. Will shoot some pics!
