I found a better replacement vend motor for the Westies. It bolts in without modifying the mounting bracket. It still requires a new cam assembly as the shaft is 5/16" and does not have a pin through it. If anyone needs one P/M me and I'll make arrangements to get the motor and cam out.
Thanks,Ken

Nice work!  How hard it is making up the new cams?

Takes about 2 to three hours to cut out, grind down, drill and tap the collar and weld it together. I'm hoping to have a plasma cutter soon so the cut and grind time will be about half.

Is that just out of another machine? Or can you order that one too

What's the big difference in the cam, is it just the shaft diameter?  Could you just weld in an insert to an original and drill it out?

On the original cam you can weld an insert in and drill it out but you don't have much to work with on the collar to drill and tap for set screws.

Well this is good news for all of those folks with Westinghouse  Select-a-Matics! way to go!  happydrinkers

So, is the replacement motors RPM (rotating speed) the same? or at least close? Also, they do sell motor shaft adapters at suppliers like Grangers & such. It would make adapting the new unit to the old cam much easier.

It's a 20 rpm motor. I searched Grainger and McMaster Carr for an adaptor to use the original cam but the biggest hang up is fastening it to the shaft. If anyone has an idea on it I'm all for it. The reason I remade the cam is to make it easier to install the motor without having to fabricate or adapt anything to make it work other than adjusting the travel and the cycling switch.
