I put this up for sale on oldgas but thought I would see if anyone on here can do something with this sign.  I couldnt leave it on the guys building where it was rotting.  $35 shipped

Um, ya... this is going to lead me to a question that may get my head bit off but here it goes....

Does anyone "restore" these? It looks like a ton of work, but really just paint so more time then anything.

I know of one person, does awesome work, but expensive and last i heard, had a 2 yr waiting list.

I know that they are worth at least $5000 restored.

Actually Signguy would know, but I don't think signs should go through the restoration process.  They are usually collected "as is"

       May be just the ticket for that Mason's 81.  biggrin

       Actually I like the design, the block letters should not be too hard to reproduce and the bottle is cool. It would look much better if it were just stripped and primered.

       E bay is probably a better way to expose it to the die hard sign people or Mason collector.
