Here is your chance.

I was working on getting this machine about a year ago. If I remember correctly we were about $200 apart, somewhere in the $1,000 range. I forgot the exact details but it seems to have increased in value over the past year. I don't know if this is the same seller, it may have switched hands, maybe not.

      Why would anybody chrome plate the base?

I know a guy that has three in his shop right now, if you are interested...he can be reasonable some of the time...I'm guessing in the $1100 range, but need restored

He even chromed the wrench to open to loading door! wow  He has a lot of money in chrome on this machine but it is way over-done.  The Ideal Coca Cola Slider looks great with the red side and white front with the red embossed letters and red cap catcher. Why do people feel the need to overcomplicate the look of a classic machine?

Doubt it. Been trying to establish same on V-56 Rt's. Without multiple SN#'s no way to get an accurate range sort.
Guess < 300 though.

The Ideal Coca Cola Slider looks great with the red side and white front with the red embossed letters and red cap catcher. Why do people feel the need to overcomplicate the look of a classic machine?

      The white front is very distinguishing feature of an embossed Coca Cola slider. Whoever made the decision to repaint it in solid red make a very costly mistake at resale time.
