I'm not interested in it, just wondering. Looks like a homemade job to me but I could be wrong. The stand just looks way to modern to house a double dot cooler.

Correct, I believe the cooler was only offered as a countertop version.
His story about the stand is...   censored

It Looks real & vintage, wish they'd be more specific on the manufacture or a model No. & maybe a nice inside picture, So a cooler it is, vintage it may be...(or just a hollow shell) I wonder why it's not being put up on Ebay, it would attract a larger crowd..

PS I attached picture for posterity's sake or once the item sells the Pic' will disappear & everybody would wonder what the heck you were talking about.

The stand does look like something you'd find a home-depot or lowes doesn't it?

Now I feel stupid for actually buying his story for a second on the stand.

The stand looks exactly like the one that was at auction in Maine with one of these coolers. It looked like it was the right age and fit it perfectly.

Not saying it like it is in fact real, just kind of hard to believe that there are 2 of the exact coolers across the country with the same exact fake base that fits it perfectly.

He references the Encyclopedia of Pepsi-Cola Collectibles and says it is in there. Anybody have the book?

Seems to me Pepsi would have painted the stand blue.... or at least the shade of red should be the same color as the letters on the cooler.
These two pieces still do not look like they are from the same era.

The stand does not exist in Warman's Pepsi Field Guide.  I suspect it is a repop.
